The Cure were the soundtrack of my teens, and I still dip back into them regularly. While Perry did not play on what I consider to be their peak material, he has been a mainstay of their live performances for over 2 decades, playing that classic material, including the stupendous “Trilogy” tour, which included the definitive rendition of “The Kiss”.

RIP Perry, thanks for helping keep the classic Cure sound alive.
