A lot of people don’t get that **this** to an even larger scale is what we get if we let social media with full freedom of operation and zero oversight by the EU.

They will flood the zone with propaganda, because there are people (billionaires, companies, nations) with endless money and the willingless to use them pushing it to Europeans, and it will eventually work for a significant percentage of them.

We can’t just rely on each person’s ability to critically judge what’s AI and what’s not, what’s propaganda and what’s truth.

We need to reset the playing field.

We did not allow this level of “no rules” on Radio or TV, why are we allowing it on social media, which is the new loudspeaker to the world?

  5. Isn’t a USA mix of interests going to buy TikTok soon and isn’t the USA wanting now to break the EU apart by pulling Poland and a few other states out?

Tik, Tok, don’t waste precious time EU !

Can we just acknowledge that RUSSIA IS ATTACKING EUROPE, effectively executing cyber warfare against us?? Collectively, I want to see a statement from the EU leadership and steps accordingly. Russians are manipulating us with no end in sight.

Why is everyone in Europe setting themselves up for failure?

CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou mentioned at some point that Brexit was a CIA/Mossad operation to weaken Europe politically.. DEI, environmental-oriented policies and recent tariffs had the same effect economically. I may or may not agree on if those policies had that effect but he certainly expressed the motivation for the weakening and I can understand that. For ex: job market in Germany is suffering big time.

If Europe can’t stand united and solve its own problems, however big they might be, it will not be a good day when sh!t hits the fan.

Similarly, whoever wants individual EU states to fail, or Europe to stay silent in global affairs does not have good motivations.

Isn’t Tiktok partly run by Americans now? A country who listed Poland as one they want to break away from Europe to weaken the entire continent? At what point do we just admit that Russia has taken over the US and they’re both now targeting us…

    >WARSAW, Dec 30 (Reuters) – Poland has asked the European Commission to investigate TikTok after the social media platform hosted artificial intelligence-generated content including calls for Poland to withdraw from the EU, it said on Tuesday, adding that the content was almost certainly Russian disinformation.
