      I don’t mind top public officials getting a high pay, but it should absolutely be publicised.

      The scandal here is the non-disclosure.

      The salary method hasn’t changed since the the enception of the ecb but I do agree that they can be more transparent.

      Jay Powells at $200k is just insanely low. Probably kickbacks after retirement as an advisor with banks. Its like the silly low UK Prime Minister salary.

      Also, all the other parts of the salary make perfect sense.
