We just need to condemn it, in the strongest way possible. Maybe a UN resolution…

How are we going to say to china now that they can’t touch taiwan… ? Or russia Ukraine.

What dumbasses are in charge over in the US?

    2. jessie136997 on

Diplomacy in one line please, no chaos seen like the EU’s universal response to every crisis.

    3. SolivagantWalker on

Hopefully soon Greenland and other parts of Europe.

    4. International law doesn’t apply to the USA, never did

International law is only used as a geopolitical tool to lecture weaker nations

    5. The eu is a bunch of idiots. Maduro has never been recognised as a legitimate president. One simply can’t defend a dictator.

    6. Gabi1904 on

I don’t understand Europeans supporting dictators, if it were Putin will EU do the same ?

    7. TheRealSlimShady2024 on

Let’s see if the EU will now apply the same sanctions and financial restrictions on the US that they applied to Russia. Somehow I doubt it.

    8. Democracy and freedom coming to Venezuela. First, US will free them of their oil 😂

    9. eucariota92 on

International law is just a farce that doesn’t stop counties like Iran, Venezuela or North Korea to brutally repress and kill their citizens.

Can’t wait for all the Americans to express concern and then be too bitchmade to ever protest

    11. caermeaineglaeddyv on

If THIS is everything the EU has to say and to do, we can just surrender Greenland to Trump and be done with it. Cowards.

Meanwhile, exiled Venezuelans in Florida are dancing in the street.

“how can we say anything now when China invades Taiwan”

Lmao you werent going to say anything yesterday, you werent going to say anything today. Nothing has changed, there is no way to condemn an action more than “the strongest way possible”. Im sure America will protect Taiwan alright.

    14. Odd-Future1037 on

Eu doesn’t recognize Maduro’s presidency, so… what exactly are they urging?

    15. HereIGoAgain99 on

No one cares about European urges anymore, lol. Keep putting together “important” climate change working groups and let the big boys take care of the world.

    16. asnbud01 on

Look at the title. This is why Europe is and will always be America’s poodle.

    17. KimchiLlama on

And what is Europe’s plan when the US inevitably ignores anything they say?

    18. Coccolillo on

I am sure that our duo, Ursula and Lagarde, will surrender Greenland next week.

The rules based international system the US built up over the last 70 years has been dismantled by the US. This is a green light for any strongman around the world to act with impunity. There is no independent arbiter of international law anymore – Trump sanctions the ICC and has defunded it. Any less powerful nation Trump sees as a problem now and he can just roll in and kidnap their leader – think whatever you may of Maduro, the precedent this sets is very worrying. We are living in lawless international times.

    20. Legatus_Aemilianus on

Yeah Trump is bad but I’m glad a Putin aligned dictator is gone…I just wish Trump could be indicted with him

    21. sandokando on

      Dear Trump,

please take Kaja, Strarmer, Kaja, UVL, Macron and any EU politician you want.

Other EU politicians will just make a “restraint statement” 🙃

    22. Oyddjayvagr on

When it will be done to Europe will they react the same way?

    23. PineBNorth85 on

International law is a joke. I don’t get why the EU hasn’t figured that out yet.

    24. Horror-Point-4693 on

As an American, EU does make me laugh. “Urges US” Sure buddy 😂

    25. ExerciseFickle8540 on

I thought EU is finally standing up for international law and putting sanction on the invader

    26. classicjuice on

It seems like EU is somewhat trying to play by the rules, but everyone else is just doing what they please while we sit with our thumbs up our asses hoping for things to go back to normal.

    27. GamerGuyAlly on

I’ve never hated America more in my life, its just ridiculous we are pretending that these guys are in any way our allies. Its time to absolutely denounce them and break off our alliances and agreements. Start by seizing assets if we need to, decouple us from their tech, kick them out of our countries military bases. Whatever it takes.

Trumps golf course needs paving over. He and his cronies need to be banned from the EU. Absolutely unwelcome cum stains. He should have been swallowed the orange paedophile.

Every day that passes, my disdain for King Louis grows.

    29. butwhywedothis on

EU must stay prepared. The pedo president of America will target Greenland next.

    30. GrannyFlash7373 on

Trump and Putin only understand ONE language, and THAT is the language that SPEWS out of their mouths, on a constant basis. If they are to be stopped, then the REST of the world has to start using that language against them. In other words, fight FIRE with FIRE.

    31. Call me when they start with sanctions to the USA, then we will know they are starting to grow a spine.

      Do it before Greenland BTW.

    32. Ok_Relation7695 on

Europe has been just sitting and watching this happen… now they do the absolute minimum.

    33. SaturnC8 on

      Russia invading Ukraine.

America takes down the Venezuelan dictatorship.

The EU’s response: “T-THIS ISNT HECKING WHOLESOME.”

It’s like our politicians are manchildren who grew up on nothing but My Little Pony and Steven Universe.

Makes me want to give them a rifle and send them to the frontlines in Ukraine, just so they get a taste of real life.
