      Because most people will not read the article before commenting, an important quote to contextualize the title.

      Therapists are not out where on a crusade to find and shame people who watch pornography, but a growing number of people seek help from therapists in relation to pornography use causing them harm.

      The UK government won’t listen to the expert here. They’ll try something stupid like bans or making it even more difficult for UK citizens to view.

      The United Kingdom is in many ways, a socially conservative country that cosplays as a more liberal country. They literally tried to [ban BDSM back in 2014](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audiovisual_Media_Services_Regulations_2014). Porn addiction is heavily correlated with socially conservative/religious cultures.
