Will be interesting to see, WHAT was hit exactly and HOW badly….
In contrast to the Russian terrorist attacks, which are specifically targeting women and children, Ukraine is ONLY trying to end the war by taking out the Russian war machine. And Putin only wants peace…sure.

Usman is part of Lipetsk Oblast. Lipetsk has been an important center of heavy industry since the times of the czars. The whole reason it was founded by the czar was to produce artillery shells. Today it host major steel mills and several vehicle factories.

It is also home to Lipetsk Air Base located 12 km northwest of Lipetsk, which is the chief combat training center of the Russian Aerospace Forces. Also, located southeast of the city, is one of the square kilometer sized strategic ammo depots.

So, all in all an that city is a pretty important target, *but*: While there *are* several a medium sized fuel depots in Lipestsk Oblast, the region *does not* feature any refineries.

What was hit is such a medium fuel depot, located at 52.098635305198876, 39.72733015965012 in the village of Streletskie Khutora near the town of Usman. It is operated by LLC Usmanskaya Neftebaza.
