      I’m so fucking glad we’re getting some **proper** ass winter temps this year, and unsurprisingly a fair amount of snow to go with it. I don’t remember last year’s winter too well, but iirc, it was only a few degrees below zero most of the time, and the snow would occasionally melt and turn into the fucking miserable sludge that no one likes. Seeing -20 °C or lower on the weather forecast made me unfathomably happy. Snow is not guaranteed in the south, but it’s also still not uncommon thank god (for now)

      -19.2 Celsius where I live about 130km to the east from Helsinki. If only that were it, but the wind chill from gusts takes it to feeling like -25 or colder on the skin.

      Guess I’ll have to bunker inside and wait until it rises back up to around -10 and warmer than that. If only I had the resources to fuck off south during winters, bleh.

      Yeah snowstorm everywhere rn. We’ve been in saariselkä until Friday and then made the drive down through Sweden back to germany. Oh boy was that a drive, it’s like Sweden doesn’t even have snowploughs in the south 😭

      Oh goody, it’s the return of the snow.

      * A huge amount of drivers will promptly forget how to drive, regardless of how many years they’ve already been driving in Finnish winters
      * An equal amount of dog owners will assume that the piles of shit will magically vanish and definitely won’t be a problem in the spring

      As much as I enjoy certain aspects of winter, these are the ones I dislike the most.
