I find it hard to believe that Putin would leave his ally in South America out to dry like that. Maduro getting ousted is as bad as Assad getting deposed, both are net losses for Russian influence. This sounds like a convenient face-saving excuse after the fact like “sure, I meant to do that.”

That’s from 2019, so it’s sort of interesting that an article about it is written about it again now. If there was ever an agreement, the US sure as hell didn’t comply on their side of it. Yet somehow, some people want to pretend that Russia “let” the US capture Maduro.

Biden gave Ukraine direct aid for 3 years, and Trump had PURL created to continue selling US weapons to Ukraine. The US continues to give Ukraine intel for defense, and the US also gives Ukraine intel for targeting Russian refineries. Clearly Russia wasn’t given anything close to free rein in Ukraine, lol.

lol as if Russia could’ve even done anything to protect Venezuela, they’ll prob make the same useless offer with Greenland.

Well. I think they already painted the lines.

Western hemisphere for the USA and Europe for russia.

It is some kind of feeling, because look how the USA pushed Ukraine to surrender. How verbaly attacked EU governments and wanted to place right pro russian twats as AFD

Yeah. Did he also do the same with Syria and now possibly Iran? Is Putin on some sort of “EVERYTHING MUST GO!” sale of allies? If it costs something like $3,5 I could take North Korea off his hands… I just need about $3.5.
