When new admins come in, they always feel like they’ve got to change everything around, in order to express their authority. Bad move. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
From my perspective, this has been a complete mess.
The Legion has always been dysfunctional and had a lot of problems that could never quite get fixed. However that dysfunction doesn’t extend to all teams within the Legion; they have done a lot of heavy fighting and some work together extremely well.
If they are going to disband it, they need to clearly communicate both where current legionnaires are going and keep them together if they want to be together. They trust each other they want to stay together. Some have opted to just go home instead. Ukraine is losing people due to this move.
It’s also incredibly confusing for anyone trying to go fight in Ukraine to know what to do and where to apply. Case in point of why it’s confusing.
This photo is captioned legionnaires of Third Assault Brigade. However 3AB is NOT at all affected by this move and is still taking foreigners. But because Legion and legionnaire have been used to describe foreigners not in the Legion, everyone is confused.
Hopefully they can resolve this ASAP. People who want to fight are few and far between.
