I hope France will keep this pro european stance.
As a Lithuanian i started to respect france from 2022, for the sake of Europe, i hope France won’t became pro russian again…
I swear, if she loses the appeal, MAGA will threaten to annex New Caledonia or some shit.
Just a reminder, while she was stealing money for her own benefits, she regularly argued that corrupt leader should be sentenced to lifetime ineligibility. She also had the audacity to argue that her party was « *tête haute, mains propres* » while being obviously corrupt. She ran the beginning of her political career against a so called « *Republique des pourris* » while she was being a crooked.
I hope she will go to jail for a long time.

Sadly the billionaires leading the medias on TV (the very source of information for old adults / voters) are pushing for her or her dauphin (so to say lol) to be the next president. Bolloré, a far-right billionaire, uses all of his media power to promote the rassemblement national, the french equivalent of maga.
But anyway, if she or Bardella reaches to presidency, we will have to watch the exact same shit show the US are currently suffering.

i wonder how the left/center’s right wing crackdowns work out for them– i guess it’s like whack a mole, get rid of marine, bardella pops up– maybe they can get rid of him too? maybe if they ban X people will forget about the whole migrant crisis thing and vote in another centrist banker like macron? would everyone be happy then? if she broke the law she deserves to face up to it anyway.. the optics aren’t great as she was surging in polls..
I love how European countries just criminally charge their opposition leaders rather than change their unpopular policies. Then turn around and pretend like they’re more democratic than the US.
