I wouldn’t rule it out. It can be the very truth. Because from simple logical conclusions we can come to a point that so called armenian genocide is very exaggerated. How? Just look at nowadays event and how armenians and some western media call it. I mean, despite the fact that even 1 single civilian died in the most recent NK anti terrorism operation, they 24/7 claim that Aze did genocide. I don’t doubt that the same applies to most of their historical claims.

He didn’t say that, he said Russians sowed the seeds and agitated the Armenian population in the Ottoman Empire. No Armenian politician would survive such a statement.

That said, it’s a complete and utter lie. It was the French and British that were trying to rile up Armenians against the Turks. It was the British and French guns that were captured by Armenians by Turkish forces helped them immensely. When Armenians claim land from Turkiye it’s based on so-called (which means never existed in reality, just on paper) Wilsonian Armenia, (Wilson being the US president at the time) that was supposed to be under the US.

Reds at the time saw Western encroachment to their border at the time and helped Turkiye.

I hate Russia as much as the next Caucasian person, but saying things that are not real is stupid. And hurts their cause. I hate crackpot tinfoil hat conspiracy theories, but I’m starting to think “those” people have some truth when they say he is a western ngo backed person. Or he is stupid. Latter one is more likely.
