      The Kyiv Independent reports 2 million Ukrainians are ‘avoiding mobilisation’ and 200,000 Ukrainian soldiers are AWOL. It seems everybody not fighting this war is celebrating it way more than the people compelled to do the fighting.

      Hard to help a nation that doesn’t want to help itself.

      They didn’t lift a finger to change themselves, when in bolshevik-communist era they killed tens of millions of themselves (before killing millions of other people), this genocide is hardly worth bringing up in comparison. Such is the culture around these parts.

      It’s a wonder they even *have* voluntary recruits. I imagine the living situation fucks up the psyche to make people think the piss poor state of their country is worth fighting for.
