Imagine the legendary battles that happened in the Colosseum… many of the fighters must have been stars like today’s football players… the richest sportsman in Roman history was a Lusitanian (Portuguese) named Gaius Appuleius Diocles, a chariot racer… imagine if the Roman Empire had never fallen and had conquered Germania and the rest of Britain etc…. the world would be so different
