Yeah that was a pity.
Based on this Suddeutsche article I think it is fair to have an open discussion when this kind of action becomes fair?
During the war, it was already too late. The best time to do it would have been before the war. I can’t fault [Georg Elser](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georg_Elser)’s attempt in 1939, despite the collateral damage.
Well…one guy did.
Shooting just him would probably delay the war, but it will not prevent it. Soviets were more than ready to start it on they own. Finland, Baltics… were just test runs.
