Vinland is most likely Newfoundland Canada. It is uncertain whether there was a Norse settlement in what is now the United States.

If we got the choice to have USA, my initial thought would be no.

While true that the vikings did in fact discover Vinland, Vinland is modern day Nova scotia and possibly Newfoundland or Labrador in Canada. And as a Canadian currently in Norway, jeg spør deg å ta hjemlandet mitt, takk.

I think you forgot about native Americans being there for thousand of years earlier

    6. New atlases in 2026 will have the Gulf of Norway south of USA!

Not sure you thought this through, lest start with something simple, healthcare, you want to bring the socialised healthcare model to the US ….. 😳 you’d bankrupt yourself. Probably best to leave them alone for another 6 months, treat it like a leprosy colony and once the ‘disease’ has run its course, then you go in and repopulate it. That’d be best 🤣

I knew, if we’re going by Wilsonian ideals it belongs to iceland until a referendum could be held.

Also it would be Canada not the continental US.
