Per celebrare il Giorno dell’Unità dell’Ucraina, i ricercatori polari ucraini hanno formato una catena umana vicino alla stazione di ricerca Akademik Vernadsky.
“Si sono uniti per ricordare ancora una volta al mondo che la nostra forza risiede nell’unità ”, ha affermato il Centro scientifico nazionale antartico.

My grand uncle spent two ‘overwinters’ in Antarctica, in early1900s; so as a small boy I listened to his stories. Especially the mental problems of the long night. I applaud your efforts.
