Forse è una domanda stupida, sto pensando di iscrivermi per una BahnCard di prova, qualcuno può confermare che in realtà non posso annullarla? Hanno questa offerta apposta per convincere le persone a iscriversi e invogliarle, per poi dover pagare l’intero costo annuale una volta scaduto? Sono uno studente qui solo per un semestre, quindi non mi servirebbero comunque molto più dei 3 mesi.
Ma sullo schermo dietro c’è scritto: "La tua BahnCard verrà automaticamente prorogata di un anno a meno che non la annulli per iscritto almeno 4 settimane prima della fine del suo periodo di validità. Hai un periodo di diritto di recesso di 14 giorni."
????
Aggiornamento: ora ho capito. Ho acquistato e annullato immediatamente online. L’e-mail ricevuta è sufficiente per confermare che non mi verrà addebitato alcun importo al termine del periodo di prova?

You can of course cancel it within the terms of service.
You cannot cancel the Probe BahnCard (3 months).
But you have to cancel the whole subscription 4 weeks before its end of validity (i.e within the first 2 months) if you do not want to continue with a regular BahnCard for a whole year afterwards.
It’s valid for 3 month, you can’t cancel it after 1 month and get 2 month worth of your money back.
Also its a subscription, so it gets changed into a full bahncard after 3 months. So if you only want the probebahncard, you need to cancel the subscription at latest 4 weeks before the 3 months are over, otherwise they will charge you for a full card.
IMHO, this is a trick to get you sucked into a sub. I did this and didn’t like the experience when I requested to cancel. Had to email , was late by a day, subscription kicked in for a year , never wanted it etc etc
It’s almost a scam and for some reason everyone accepts it and just says “it is written there”.
