with historic buildings, if there are photos of it online, it can be quite good,
The problem here is that with everything so far away in the background, there’s basically nothing that stands out: the only distinctive feature is the church, but it’s basically “generic village church in southern or central Germany, but probably not very far south”. It kinda looks like a place that could be in my region, but there are many other regions it could be in.
Another problem is that it’s almost certain the village will look very different now, with a lot of new houses. It’s possible that where that where that guy is standing is now somebody’s kitchen in an ugly 1970s house. Maybe if one of the members of this sub is about 90 years old and grew up in that exact village you’ll get the answer you’re looking for, but otherwise… not likely, I’m afraid.
