There are a lot of things I do dislike about Elon Musk, but seems like this time he did good.. so thanks for once (doesn’t exactly excuse the bad things though)

If starlink device in Ukraine and travelling towards Russia – whitelist. Travelling towards Ukraine – disable. Simples.

You all need to stop thanking Elon for doing the absolute bare minimum to secure Ukraine’s air space. He could do such much more to keep Ukrainians alive and chooses not to, because he’s toeing the alliance line between Russia and Ukraine. The second it benefits him more to support Russia, he will. This is a band aid over a problem he created and you are all thanking him for it. Have some higher standards.

**Please** let this **not** be a reason to “accidentally” stall verifying Ukranian terminals as well. I’ve lost all trust in trump’s billionaire buddies. Sláva Ukraíni!

All registered starlink will be disconnected, that’s the twist if FElon is allowing this

  8. Lol, Musk being all “look at me doing this,” now, when he has been so staunchly pro-Russian for so long.

I don’t want to criticize Musk too much when he’s backing the right decision, but I have to point out that his behavior really seems like a second-order effect of Ukraine’s battlefield success. Ukraine has held out for so long, defying all of Putin’s claims of glittering dark majestic inevitability and instead delivering punishing blow after punishing blow, that people like Musk are starting to switch their personal allegiance away from Putin’s Russia. Even though for so long Putin’s mythology represented so many things that they admire.

It’s stupid that this is how legitimacy is achieved but sometimes, for some people, that is what it takes. We’ll see what happens when Ukraine gets around to ground operations against Crimea. I predict Musk and his ilk will all go into a “bargaining” phase where they argue on behalf of Russia for Crimea to remain in Russian hands, defending the core of Russia’s strategic interest … until Ukraine starts to really overwhelm Russian defenses or Russia experiences a major domestic collapse at home, at which point Musk’s instinct to always be seen backing the winner will override his natural affinity for Putin.

    But we will see.
