Il nostro autista ferito Sascha è diventato padre. Insieme abbiamo comprato dei regali per sua figlia Mya. Dopo tanto tempo finalmente abbiamo potuto fargli nuovamente visita, cosa che aspettavamo da giorni.
Era presente anche Alexander, il padre del defunto Zhenya e direttore della Holland House. Per lui resta difficile vedere Sascha come l’unico sopravvissuto. Quando Sascha ha visto i nostri tatuaggi, il momento è diventato ancora più emozionante. Li aveva già visti in uno dei nostri video, ma vederli dal vivo lo ha commosso profondamente. Ha detto che non appena si sentirà meglio, vorrà farsi gli stessi tatuaggi anche lui.
È stato anche toccato dai regali e dalle lettere che gli abbiamo portato dai Paesi Bassi, per i quali desideriamo ringraziare ancora sinceramente tutti.

Thank you Franky and Coen. I know you do so much more than you are given credit for. And you give people a time out from the ugliness of the war. But also as Emma Lazarus’ famous poem says (against imperialism and ruZZian influence & pogroms against Jewish people in that time-just as they are doing once again to Ukraine) “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free” and I see you do that and love to see your videos (as long as the person in the video consents to the video being recorded and shared) and the joy you bring people who have been shattered by this genocide.
Thank you for all you do to love, support, and remember those who have been lost. And the tattoo is a beautiful remembrance of those who touched your lives personally.
