Foxhunting as a sport is cruel and barbaric and should be banned. There are a few politicians who are more worried about their seat then doing whats right
Majority of people don’t care that much. They don’t like it but there’s a certain group of people that do enjoy it who have enough lobbying power. Also love how we use the Red C survey. It’s clearly wrong when it comes to opinion polls but right on other topics.
That bill was too severe though. Hunting with horses and hounds should have been banned and hopefully will be. But occasionally a farmer who is losing livestock should be able to kill a fox. That bill made that illegal.
Like they care what the plebs think. Its all money lads.

I don’t think it’s just rural people. Almost everyone wants a ban on fox hunting.
I’m a farmer and have always been against it. It’s incredibly cruel. The answer they always give is that they rarely catch the fox. They do and it gets ripped to shreds
Channel 4 had some horrible footage of drag hunting in England the other night. Disgusting. We allow what they have to do surreptitiously. Shameful.
I’ve farmers in my family and have seen what foxes can do to livestock if they get in. Farmers need to be able to protect their animals. I think most people get that.
But foxhunting is just such a bizarre and cruel sport. You have to be some cunt to get your kicks out of hunting and killing an animal.
The sooner it’s banned, the better.
