      Sinn Fein is just blind to what is going on in Ukraine.

      What Russia is doing, just today the Kremlin said they won’t stop until Ukraine surrenders.

      Ukraine is in a fight for survival against Russia.

      The Irish times can piss and moan all they like SF are perfectly within their rights to question if the best thing for Irish people is plowing billions into a famously corrupt country so they can continue their forever war

      While I do think that Sinn Féin has a right to question where the money is being spent, it’s vital that Ukraine gets the aid that it needs

      SF may have a better understanding than most other parties.
      Russia warned that if NATO continued to push up to their borders that there would be consequences, that has brought us where we are now.

      Sinn Fein have a long track record of anti EU / pro Russian stances. (Like a lot of old lefties. And our current president). The old anti western imperialist college politics doesnt really work in a 2026 though.

      It sucks they are our most viable non FF/FG party. I would hope we see the others grow in support before the next election.

      Sinn Fein seem to take whatever the latest populist line is. I’ve seen the independent TDs posting very similar stuff. What I find particularly interesting is how they have all become experts on obscure facts about Ukraine and post these long posts on social media, I’d really like to know where this information is being fed to them from.

      Complicated politics russia is very to the right. SF center to the left. Except on ukraine where it’s following hungry and russia it looks like. On the fence with immigration

      Hypocrisy at its finest, the want a 32 county Ireland. But have no problem letting Putin commit some of the worst atrocities imaginable against a country fighting for its survival.
      They are an absolute disgrace.
