      Have you ever made a left turn in Switzerland? 🙂

      There are lots of places where the traffic light is green on both sides of the road.

      Usually when there’s a yellow light flashing it means you need to give way. It’s pretty common all over Europe…

      Not only can I imagine that, I was riding shotgun when my friend who was driving was hit in a very similar situation (though not nearly as hard).

      A solid green in Switzerland means “yield” on left turns. A protected left is signaled by a green ARROW.

      Green whithout an arrow inside doesn’t give you the right of way at right or left turns. Even here in switzerland.
