      I watched her speech after the news. I thought the Soc Dems under Holly might actually bring some policies to the table. Instead it was an endless doom loop of stating the bloody obvious but not a single idea on how to make it happen. She hasn’t failed because she hasn’t had a chance yet but it’s bloody depressing how no one in Irish politics has a single good idea between them. It seems now they all stand on the policy that “we aren’t the other guys”.

      Didn’t SocDems have the opportunity to go into govt after the last election but said no? Would’ve thought that’s how to change shit like the greens did but I guess not

      I’m in the Netherlands and theres a national hotline for reporting vacant property cos of the housing crisis. Not sure if it’s helping much, but at least they’re trying something.

      Not one workable idea to fix housing crisis.

      Neutrality per referendum but ignores Russian hacking hse/flying drones over Dublin airport.

      Cares more about israel/palestine than fixing irish issues.

      The orginal point of soc dems is long dead.
