On the one hand this is bad, but it’s happened in nearly every European country, just earlier.
Indigenous languages and imperial language, name a better solo.
tl;dr no one cares. The government stopped caring (was it ever even?), the speakers don’t care either, so some “displacement” is bound to happen.
Russification all but killed Belarusian language and wants to do the same with Ukrainian
Quiet? It has been loudly going on for hundreds of years.
