      In Brazil, Heineken was destroying all the competition. Until the day the CEO decided to take action and put an end to their success. They said that Brazil wasn’t used to the original flavor, so they changed the formula, coincidentally saving a lot on production costs.

      The Dutch brewing scene has a zillion better beers. Even of the ones that make it across the Atlantic, Heineken is the last I’d ever choose.

      Either produce a better product than your competitors or lose. Simple as that.

      Man, these are tough times!

      We have to support the French winemakers, not to mention the Cognac district, and now the Dutch beer breweries as well!

      But it is fine, I’m doing my part!

      If I ever buy Heineken it means there were no other options. It is not a good beer.

      Sucks about the job cuts, but good to see decline in alcohol consumption (or at least, consumption of their donkey piss)

      Hopefully those jobs comprise of skills transferable to other industries

      In Ireland Heineken was popular as it was one of the few taps in pubs, it still is kind of as they’ll give deals/payments to pubs to knock other beers off tap for their own .

      But most pubs nowadays have a way bigger selection than that swill. Sad that jobs are going but good riddance to these kind of macro brewers. Theyve done their fair share to ruin other good beer brands and serve customers shite at a premium price

      Well Here in Germany wine and Schnaps Producers already feel the General decline of alcohol drinkers, Beer breweries Not as much (yet).

      Well yeah, alcohol is a waste of time and health.
