I’m guessing the walls were built with Turks in mindÂ
[Manasija](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manasija) was built by [Stefan the Tall](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefan_Lazarevi%C4%87) between 1406 and 1418. These walls portray Serbia in the first half of the 15th century: constant fear of the imminent Ottoman invasion. It is currently an active, women’s convent.
Can’t deny it – that’s a wonderful scene.
