If the person leading Bord Bia doesn’t think the QA scheme or Irish beef is “necessary” for his own business model, why should farmers trust the organization?

Spare a thought for the farmers running the 24/7 protest outside Bord Bia targeting this hypocrisy. Larry Murrin must step down. How he has the backing of certain politicians is beyond me. Can only assume there have been a few brown envelopes passed about

It’s a joke of a situation. Farmers have lost trust in Bord Bia, and the government doesn’t care.

This was Bord Bias response. They have the audacity to talk about facts.

I going to relisten to Murrin attendance at the oireachtas committee- I’d advise listen at 1.25 speed, as there is a lot of media trained padding in his answers. My initial listen , I thought he came across quite above reproach as he had the confidence of the board and government. He is going no where.

Dawn “oops that’s horse meat” Foods not fully QA compliant?

Did anyone really expect they would be?

It’s so damaging to Bord Bia and if this gets traction on social media/ mainstream, how much confidence is the global market going to have for our Irish Food producers, when the Chairmain doesn’t even apply the same standards in his private business . This is clown show territory.
