A man in his 40s was also injured in the crash.

Ms O’Reilly was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, for a post-mortem examination. ”

I drive that section of the N24 regularly. There are long straight streches on both sides of Boher which encourage arseholes to try to overtake multiple cars. They have traffic calming signs up for years already. Add to the mix the roadworks the council are doing in Boher for new bus stops.
