      I get that this is framed as such because tomorrow is pancake Tuesday, but prices of kitchen essentials like flour, eggs, milk, and sugar going up by 33% is a massive issue and feels somewhat downplayed when reduced to “pancake ingredients”.

      look as much as i love pancakes the price of rising ingredients of pancakes

      thats not the problem the problem is literally every fucking thing is going up in price and far more important things are going up a alot more than a third

      god we are getting fleeced

      I think the cost of all goods and services have basically peaked or pleataued and will start to drop in 5 years.

      A few years ago my local supervalu overbought those premixed bottles and were flogging them for weeks for a euro each. I was made from pancakes by the end of it.

      Groceries. The word is GROCERIES. “Price of pancake ingredients” makes it sound like we’re only being ripped off one day a year
