      This is the correct and usual decision. This is what happens when there is no verdict.

      No need for anyone to start accusing the state of being controlled by Jews here.

      Was realistically the only outcome. The CPS aren’t going to accept that its legal to beat a police officer with a sledge hammer.

      The fact that its a year until the next trial is a bit ridiculous though.

      So it’s important to realise that they aren’t being re-tried on the charges they were found not guilty of, merely the ones where the jury failed to reach a verdict.

      As I understand it one charge failed because they had to prove they brought the sledgehammer with intent to use it as a weapon. Which is hard to prove so I understand why it failed

      But this

      How does that work? Seems like criminal damage would be the easiest thing to get them on here

      Genuinely believe it’s such a politically charged issue there’s virtually no chance of getting an impartial jury here. Am I wrong there?
