It is a shame that we trade with that Authoritarian nightmare of a regime.

Sehr gut, China is everybody’s best trade friend and we should keep in that way.

Driven by imports, Germany imports 12.5% of goods from China. Which is comparatively high to say France at 5% and the UK at about 8%.

Who knew that imposing tariffs and starting trade wars and threatening invasions makes allies trade less with you…

Biggest trading partner doesn’t mean biggest export market, it means exports plus imports.
China is biggest only because it exports much more to Germany than America does, and those exports to Germany are growing. Unfortunately German exports to China are shrinking faster than exports to America.
German exports to China last year totaled €81.3 billion, down 9.7% from the year earlier.
German companies sold goods worth €146.2 billion to the US last year, a 9.4% drop from the 12 months earlier.
