I really wonder about news stories like this.

First, Russia is losing more men and has more widows and orphans – including a number who they kidnapped. Second, if Russia actually published stats, their demographics are as bad or worse. They’ve had loads of people leave and they’ve lost well over a million men.

This seems like pressure on Ukraine to cave. And that will just mean even more Ukrainian civilians will be killed by Russia.

The pain and awfulness of the war for Ukraine can’t be understated. But the response should be more economic and military aid for Ukraine to do what NATO was founded to do: defeat Russian aggression. This article makes no mention of this.

Personally I view articles like this as thinly disguised Russian propaganda.
