No agreement on 20th package of sanctions against Russia, EU’s Kallas says
Kallas confirms that the ministers have failed to reach an agreement on the 20th package of sanctions against Russia in time for tomorrow’s anniversary of the full-scale aggression.
“This is a setback and message we did not want to send today, but the work continues,” she says.
If Orban gets reelected Hungary needs to leave the EU. Orban is only in the EU to sabotage.
I mean, I’m not an expert but there’s a limit on how much you can sanction a country that’s already sanctioned. What’s left after a 20 rounds of sanctions? Genuinly curious
Edit since I’m being downvoted: This is not a means to say that sanctions are useless, this is me saying that if there are things that are not sanctioned already they sould’ve been sanctioned way before.

I mean, what did Ukraine expect after blocking the oil from the Drushba pipeline that goes to Hungary/Slowakia? Especially when these 2 countries supply more than 1/3 of Ukraine’s total energy/heating oil/gasoline
There was a clear message from Hungary: Ukraine had until Monday (today) to resume the oil delivery. Instead, they bombed the pipeline in Russia with a drone.

Are you guys independent countries that can take action on your own, or are you *SO* tied to the EU that if the EU doesn’t do it, you can’t do it either?
The US federal government speaks for all states, internationally. Do you each speak for yourselves, or are you so beholden to the EU that you can’t do anything unless the EU oks it? and since the EU can’t ever achieve consensus, by extension you can’t ever act?
You seem to have set this up so you have the worst of both worlds, federal/independent-wise.
