Fair enough. Hé will end up persona non grata. What a bunch of pricks…

This title doesn’t do justice to the level of drama – the ambassador is Jared Kushner’s father and he compared the death of a right activist in France to Charlie Kirk. Then he insulted the French government by skipping out on summons.

    So much for diplomacy.

  3. Ambassadors are a two way street to have a diplomatic link, even in the current days. When their origin country has an issue they request an audience, when the host country has an issue they summon them.

Both sides are always supposed to agree, even if the meet is unproductive and half bullshit half spying “Yuri you lost another submarine?”

This guy has refused two summon now, so we cut the link the other way too, he can’t request an audience.

    >”Following the publication by the U.S. Embassy of comments on a tragedy that occurred in France and concerns only our national public debate – which we refuse to allow to be exploited – ambassador Charles Kushner was summoned today to the ministry. He did not show up,” the source added.

These US ambassadors are a special breed of obnoxiously opinionated arrogant assholes aren’t they?

Third European country as of late I’ve heard about some absurd drama regarding the US ambassador (Belgium and Poland being the other two). Is it fair to say they’re not sending their best?

He was in jail, pardoned by Trump; and given the position of ambassador to France.

So the same week they managed to piss off the Belgian AND the French on the eve of a probable brutal war in the middle east. Nice. Masterful gambit

Good. It’s Jared Kushner’s father, who went to prison for setting a honey trap for his brother-in-law after discovering his brother-in-law was cooperating with federal authorities investigating his business. Kushner hired a prostitute to seduce Schulder at a New Jersey motel.

He’s a filthy criminal and should never have been given the post in the first place. The Kushners are gross. Read Kushner Inc – it barely touches on just how vile taht family is but is a good starting point.

  9. Looks like the US is going all out on being international assholes. It really is time for a new world order that sidelines the US. They simply cannot be trusted as trade, diplomatic, or defence partners.

  10. Imagine how contemptuous the French will be when they get any future calls from the American Embassy – it would be joyous if we could watch them in action.

    Well, the man said himself:

    >“I’m here to do a job,” Kushner said [in an interview with French broadcaster LCI after his first summons](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkceFprzYR4). “If  President Trump wanted to pick the best diplomat to go to France, he made the wrong choice, I’m not the best.”

The old problem of Trump-appointed ambassadors believing themselves to be viceroys to which the local government has to defer and cower.

I believe the term is persona non grata. France should expel him imo.
