La giornata di oggi segna esattamente quattro anni dall’inizio dell’invasione militare su vasta scala. Ho parlato un po’ del nostro lavoro nella scuola locale.

You know, this event is dedicated to the history of our resistance, a reminder that we have endured and continue to stand strong. There were many inspiring words and interesting photos. This is necessary so that our children know and remember history. But the main thing that touched me at this event was the young girl sitting next to me. She is the daughter of my classmate, who was killed by the Russians in the war. During the event, her father’s portrait was shown three times, and she cried quietly, and she was not the only one. How can we comfort children in such cases? No matter how much we say that heroes never die, her father will never hug her again. This is my only impression, which I have been thinking about all day.

By the way, there is currently a massive drone attack on Ukraine, my dogs are going crazy and have been barking for over an hour (I’m afraid they’ll lose their voices), a Shahed was shot down nearby and the car alarm went off, something is burning somewhere in the distance. I feel like I’m in the thick of things.
