    Honestly, the part that floors me isn’t even the punch it’s the fact that a grown man with 24 previous convictions can hit an 11 year‑old on public transport while already on a suspended sentence and still walk out with “one final chance.”

    If you’re about to become a father and your instinct in a minor row is to swing at a child, that’s not “overprotective,” that’s a massive red flag. The court bending over backwards because he’s a “talented musician” with a record deal is just the cherry on top.

    Meanwhile every parent in the country is supposed to trust that their kids can sit on the Dart without some lad on bail deciding they’re fair game.

    But sure look suspended sentence number… what are we on now, three? four? that’ll sort it.
