      Good for her, hope she earns a nice pocket of cash from her last fight.

      Until she comes out of retirement to fight Jake Paul or Mike Tyson when he’s 80 or something. The way boxing is going it’s pretty likely.

      Boxers are notorious for “retiring” multiple times, the lure of the comeback cash often proves too strong. I hope Katie doesn’t go down that route

      Hard to see how she’d be able to get Croker for the summer. All Ireland Championships will be on until the middle of August and there’s already concerts booked for the end of August, The Weeknd and Bon Jovi I believe.

      Unless she goes for a September date, like the NFL last year.

      No doubt Eddie Hearn will have the begging bowel out again. Expecting the government to pay for the stadium while charging astronomical prices to get a decent seat.

      Would she Shift 83,000 seats in Croker ? The ring would defo be a bit lost in there. Maybe the Aviva would be the shout.

      Eddie Hearne is looking for the last big payout to come from a Croke Park fight. Can’t see it happening, the 3 Arena at best.

      I can’t believe she’s 40 in a few months.

      Her winning a gold medal at London 2012 is one of my earliest sporting memories alongside us getting battered in that years euros.

      She’s not fighting in Croke Park or the Aviva. She’s nowhere near popular enough for it. Who exactly does she think would attend?

      And before people get excited, this is in the 3Arena. Boxing tickets ain’t cheap, and whether you like to read this or not, she doesn’t fill Croker.
