Ciao a tutti,

Are you sure it’s not „ Kalk „? You could try a lemon vinegar cleaner

    >I used random acidic cleaner

that’s always a great idea on surfaces you don’t know how to clean… great…

    >How can i fix this ??

you can’t. you just destroyed these bathroom tiles. you need to get them replaced. talk to your landlord, if he is smart he as bought additional tiles and all you need to do is paying a handyman for replacing them. your insurance may cover that so talk to them first! fixing this can cost a few hundreds.

That at least partially is not cosmetic.

I’d do both, inform the landlord and your liability insurance. As they claim to also cover installation mishaps, they also should cover accidental use of the wrong cleaning agent. Here’s to hoping they have an understanding insurance adjuster that actually wants to adjust an occurred damage.

Your main problem could be: getsafe has passed their liability insurance on to andsafe last December. Same corporation, different name. Next, the company behind getsafe/andsafe is Provinzial, an insurance company that has been reported on for dragging out claims and being generally uncooperative with customers when claims are concerned.

So best to inform your landlord that adjustment for the damage is through getsafe/andsafe, and therefore through Provinzial. Ask for patience if they drag their feet and maybe give him the contact info for your insurance broker, as well as the regulation claim number, as soon as you have it. That way, he can put some pressure on them.

  4. Rub the tiles with a little oil, before you hand over the apartment.
