      The far right is expected but it’s shameful how the left votes as well. Horseshoe theory at its finest

      People on the political extremes take extreme positions.

      I never really believed in horseshoe theory, but it’s amazing how both the far-right and far-left are so susceptible to Russian influence.

      Nothing surprising there. ESN are openly fascist assholes and pretty much funded by Russia. Patriots are the same, only a bit more subtle. And The Left are just straight up Tankies.

      Both are supported by Russians to create infighting.

      France bringing its A game with 55 out of its 81 MEPs abstaining or not showing up. Nice cowards 👏

      Those who are against it should be deported to Russia. Ukrainians are paying with blood and are holding against forces of russian reich on our eastern border for FOUR years already. Wake up ALL OF YOU, cuz most of us, are taking it for granted now and it’s sickening.

      Russia taking over ukraine cannot be allowed to happen. It is a matter of national security not only for baltics, romania and poland but for the whole EU as russias hybrid war would only intensify. Being against supporting ukraine is something that absolutely baffles me.

      French situation:

      Les Républicains (the traditional right), Parti Socialiste (the traditional left), Renaissance (Macron’s party), Mouvement Démocrate (Bayrou’s party, centrist), Horizons (Édouard Philippe’s party, centrist), Les Écologistes, UDI (Borloo’s party, if anyone cares lol) and interestingly enough, IDL (Marion Maréchal’s party) belong to groups that voted **in favour**.

      Rassemblement National (far-right), UDR (Éric CIotti’s party, different flavour of far-right), and La France Insoumise (Mélenchon’s party, far-left) belong to groups that **abstained**.

      The only party that belongs to a group that voted **against** is Reconquête (Éric Zemmour’s party, an even different flavour of far-right).
