I paid 40c on water in Sliema last week, being a tourist I thought the guy was just having a laugh.
I was pretty surprised when he I found out he wasn’t.
I kind of understand when smaller shops do that (even though hardly so), but Greens doing that is just beyond me! What the hell guys? Probably most “high end” supermarket on the island and such a backwards move
Well its not like shops get a subsidy on electricity … oh wait 🤔
Shops will be wanting to charge extra for frozen foods next
Use self checkout and “forget” it’s cold
Do not do this it’s not okay …
These practices make me boycott the shop. The convenience store does this too.
