Terrible, glad she was jailed. Security guard is not the correct job for a man like that.

      Thats justice is it? Joke.

Wonder how many previous convictions she has, also if we’re going to blame her addictions, I assume she’s engaging in treatment programmes willingly and would pass a drugs test?

If addiction is a factor in a crime it needs to be a rule that you can’t be eligible for parole or any early release/licence without engaging with programmes and passing drugs tests.

I don’t understand why our society is becoming so out for blood.

Yes a man died, but was she the actual cause? No.

It’s weird to give her such a massive prison sentence.

I’ve seen a guy struggle and throw down a security guard before because of his addiction, guard was fine and that man now is clean and a good person.

It’s like a fight, if you engage in one, remember that from a misplaced punch or a fall can cause your death, doesn’t mean the bloke is tryna kill you.

I mean when you look at the circumstances, it’s fair to say she’s unlucky this wasn’t just a theft and common assault charge. The bloke had a heart attack. Should she be jailed? Certainly. Should the sentence be increased to reflect the level of harm, even if that harm wasn’t strictly her fault. Definitely. Is 4 years absurdly lenient like some people seem to be suggesting? Absolutely not.
