A seguito dell’escalation delle tensioni in Medio Oriente, la Turchia sta compiendo un passo fondamentale per rafforzare la sua deterrenza nella regione e rafforzare la sicurezza del paese. Secondo un rapporto dell’ Posta di Ciproquattro Aerei da caccia F-16 appartenente al Aeronautica turca dovrebbero essere schierati in Aeroporto di Ercan la domenica.
Questa decisione di schieramento strategico arriva dopo che l’isola è stata presa di mira lunedì scorso da un Veicolo aereo senza pilota (UAV) di fabbricazione iraniana. In seguito all’incidente, Unione Europea paesi e il Regno Unito hanno annunciato che avrebbero schierato varie forze nella regione.
