    Brilliant.

Funny the British government did this when there’s a major war going on.

Nice way to bury this news.

Uk abusing terrorism laws and being slapped back again needs to be called out

Hasn’t taken long for the well they’re rapists  etc nonsense to come out. They really need to start suing over that shit

Sure wasn’t he always free on one level? It’s not like he was locked up in the H blocks

  4. Right decision. Still idiotic to wave that flag after they killed one of our soldiers though.

This whole “scandal” was just stupid all round. Dragging him to court over this was a nonsensical waste of everyone’s time and money, but he should’ve known better than to explicitly and openly support a proscribed terror group (which has also killed Irish soldiers) in a country that famously doesn’t fuck around with its anti-terrorism laws. Actions have consequences.

And it would probably have helped kneecap out a lot of they had just owned up to it and threw together an apology like “on further reflection we shouldn’t have done that, and while we still stand with Palestine we don’t support jihadist terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah”. But they couldn’t even do that. Instead they outright lied and issued a statement claiming that they have never supported Hamas or Hezbollah, and outright lie, and that the video footage was “taken out of context” but they refused to ever explain what the full context apparently was.

All of this is Starmer trying to appease Blue Labour. Literally all of it. The Palestine Action stuff too. I hope he sees sense and drops it now that Morgan McSweeney isn’t holding the puppet strings. But I’m not confident.

Hopefully someone will make a film about the Kneecap 1.
