Maybe there’s a meeting planned with the Crown Prince of Italy next.
Smart statesmanship, Pahlavi is a major voice in Iran’s opposition. If Iran becomes secular, they could use their technology to help Ukraine fend of Russia. It also helps remove a Russian ally from the calculus.
