    Aggiornamento: fare un passo indietro, ma andare avanti

    Voglio scusarmi per essere rimasto in silenzio per un po’. È stato un periodo molto difficile per me.

    Sarò onesto: non è facile per me ammetterlo, ma non sono riuscito a gestire il mio nuovo lavoro. Ci ho provato davvero, ma si è rivelato troppo impegnativo dal punto di vista fisico per me.

    Gli ultimi due turni sono stati il ​​punto di rottura: prima 12 ore, poi 16 ore, con una sola pausa di 30 minuti, stando tutto il tempo nell’acqua gelata. Ho appena ricominciato a sentire caldo e ancora non riesco a sentire completamente le mie mani. Non entrerò troppo nei dettagli, ma aggiungerò alcune foto: chi capisce capirà.

    Questa non è la fine: solo un passo indietro.

    Utilizzerò questo tempo per riprendermi e trovare una via da seguire più sostenibile. Spero anche di tornare un po’ di più al mio lavoro con la pelle, dato che è qualcosa su cui posso davvero costruire.

    Sono profondamente grato per tutta la gentilezza, i messaggi e il supporto che ho già ricevuto qui. Onestamente significava più di quanto mi aspettassi.

      Cleaning livestock stables is a tough job. I wish you luck in the future.

      Don’t know the context here but pretty sure those working conditions are illegal

      It really sounds like you are being exploited with those working conditions, be sure to take care of yourself, and try contacting one of our workers unions if you have questions regarding your rights as a worker. Don’t take what your employer says at face value

      Did that myself for a while, its tough. Both physically and mentally, we got some really hard working guys from ukraine from time to time, although we never worked for more than 8 hours. A lot of these farmers unfortunately do some shady stuff, no idea about your employer tho, but 12-16 hours, I could never. As someone else said prob illegal too. All the best, don’t feel bad about calling it quits.

      If I thought this post was real, I would suggest you go to a lawyer and see if you can get some damages, because this would have been considered exploitation.

      But I have some serious doubt someone would try to make you work ~~28 hours~~ 16 hours straight
