  1. **Tldr:** Slovenia is at a political crossroads as voters head
to the polls in a high-stakes election that serves as a bellwether for Europe’s populist pulse. The race pits the center-left government of Prime Minister Robert Golob against the right-wing nationalist and former leader Janez Jansa, a vocal admirer of Donald Trump whose campaign has been rocked by “dirty tricks” allegations involving the Israeli private intelligence firm Black Cube. With the country deeply polarized over issues of migration, traditional values, and its relationship with the European Union, the outcome could determine whether Slovenia remains a stable liberal democracy or follows the illiberal path of
    neighboring Hungary.

”Ā But, still haunted by divisions dating to World War II, its two million people are polarized between liberals who see the European Union as a force for good and nationalists who worry that traditional values and culture are under threat from outsiders.”

    What outsiders?

That title is bullshit and NYT sucks for that.

Elections in Slovenia will test *Slovenia’s* political mood. The rest of Europe will have to deal with whatever the outcome is.

Janez Jansa has a nickname “Marshal Twito” for his authoritarian tendencies and love of posting on twitter.
Also his party,.SDS, got help from Black Cube, an Israeli black PR firm.

Oh, and JJ himself went to Thompson’s concert (the guy is a rapper and ustase-apologist).

The youth wing leader of SDS, Zan Mahnic – supports MAGA and has photos with Farage.

They are AfD of Slovenia, even if JJ was historically one of the people who was head of resistance and independence movements in 1991 war

While every article is about janÅ”a, let’s please not forget how the country and the existing coalition is run mafia-like, led by Ljubljana’s mayor Jankovič and the first president Kučan.

All exposed by israeli intel, who won 2times, as slovenia did not join the lawsuit against Israel, dunked janÅ”a’s chances and made sure that the winning coalition will be manipulated by appendixes 6-10.

It would be okay if those right wing parties would actually follow up on their anti EU rethoric and exit the EU when they are in power.Ā

But that is not their master’s plan and intent.

The EU desperately needs a kick out mechanism.
