Good thing he got us involved then! What better for the country than committing to a long and costly war!
I’m really pleased we haven’t been dragged into this mess but the rest of the world really needs to unite and put immense pressure on all parties involved in the conflict to negotiate an end to it.

The best thing Starmer has done since this all started was the stay out of this mess. The whole operation was done without thought, reason or a real achievable goal. All that’s happened is that Iran will dig deeper into developing its own military and perhaps their own nuclear weapons.

He said that he’s been clear with the cabinet/No.10 team that they shouldn’t rely on the comfort of an early end/exit because it MAY not happen and they shouldn’t rely be equipped for it being prolonged; he categorically didn’t say what the headline implies.
