Been hearing these headlines for almost 2 decades now. What will be done about it? Fuck all.
A conservative MP can stfu for all the damage they did to working class people, white or otherwise.
You can’t bitch about this whilst also calling them all benefit cheats.
This has been the case for many years.
Black, Pakistani and white boys tend to fall behind. Indian and Chinese boys excel.
Tory MP, this isn’t anything new, the Tories had 15 years to do something about this but instead they cut Sure Start centres (something that helped working class families).
Well maybe if Tory MPs like him hadn’t underfunded education for 14 years…
The MP is right, but from the wrong party to be talking about it given their culpability.
Some drag others down, so that’s one reason that should be dealt with more.

The left abandoning the working class to focus on social justice for migrant communities is one of the biggest unforced errors in British politics.
Its wild to think how there are millions of people on minimum wage going back to their horrible mould infested rental flats, getting scalped 40-50% of income on rent… they’re doing 40+ hours of graft a week and its just hopeless.
And then you think about the fact that there basically isn’t a political party for this person.
Thats the real working class, not a cartoon character in a flat cap with braces, but these people. And nobody seems to give a shit.
