Price per MWh is currently hovering around 10 quid due all the wind being generated. So far gas is only making up 5% of the electricity mix today.

That’s good, but I shall continue to throw rocks at the house of parliament until they invest more into small modular reactors.
I get that they’re a new technology and no one wants to be the first to have it blow up in their faces, but goddamn can things not continue the way they currently are.

The current situation is a prime example of why we need more of this sort of thing. We can’t be reliant on the oil & gas & the renewable scene anymore.
Getting us as out of it as possible should be the move we make. Get more wind, solar & SMR into the national grid.
